Team Chicago travelled to Fitchburgh, Mass this past weekend and won the New England Classic. After struggling to find the back of the net in pool play, we destroyed the 2 and 3 seeds to advance to the finals. We fought through some brutal 90+ degree weather, and even though many of our guys played double duty with the coed team, the boys dug deep and beat the undefeated number 1 seed in a thrilling OT game that witnessed the craziest celebration I have ever seen; helmet punt and goalie tackle all in one.

Nick Pyznarski earned all tournament team honors and perhaps a look on team USA (the skinny punk is going to talk to the coach.

Brian Howes was the MVG, and his buddy Scott Duggan (Fake Frank) won the MVP with the championship goal.

Everybody played great. I want to make a special mention of Scottie Wargin who was by far the best player in this tournament.
